The Hollywood Reporter newspaper, referencing Dennis, asks Shepard Smith of Fox News, my least favorite Fox personality, if media personalities, who have more power than most politicians, should have
their personal lives scrutinized. Of course, Smith scoffs at the question.

Really, can’t the parents step in and say, "listen, our sixteen year-old daughter, this is unwise and we’re not going to let you do it"? Of course, there’s always a foolish judge who’s willing to play along. The whole thing is sad and pathetic on multiple levels. That the girl has received hate mail is, of course, terrible.

The President desperately needs "the youth vote." So,
he panders to them with yet another unworkable, hard to decipher scheme to keep tuition costs down; the same costs the federal government have driven up with its grants and loans! He assumes that students are not smart enough to figure this out. He may be right.
